The Cancer Support Community has recently purchased Brides Against Breast Cancer, an organization that arranges for bridal gowns to be donated and then sold off at bridal shows in order to support women with breast cancer. According to the National Cancer Institute's current statistics, 12.2 percent of women born in the United States today will develop breast cancer at some time in their lives so it behooves each and every one of us to support this cause. The first Dress Dash in Sarasota will take place on March 17, 2012 from 11:00 till 8:00 at the Cancer Support Community Florida Suncaost, 5481 Communications Parkway, Sarasota, FL 34240.
