In two weeks Ashley and Jaime will celebrate this grand wedding at the Ringling Museum. One of my favorite features is something I came up with for this 1920's, peacock feathered extravaganza -- a cake that features the architectural details of the Ca d'Zan. I can only imagine what the real deal will look like... I for one can't wait!
While I'm anxiously waiting on the gorgeous photos from Kristen and Brett's Wedding at the Sarasota Yacht Club by the lovely CA photographer nightingalephotos.com, Florida earlier this month, I couldn't help posting this adorable picture of Kristen and her Dad, Greg as they make their way down the aisle! I'm not in the habit of posting sobbing pics but this one was simply cute!
While the lovely and talented Ellie P. Campbell is working on the actual wedding photos, we are starting from the end, moving backwards! Misty wanted a "Trash the Dress" photo session the next morning which turned into this whole adorable shoot... which simply reminds me why Sarasota is such a paradise for destination weddings! Ashley is not much of a pink girl but with Peonies looking so good... how could anyone resist? Ever since Shoogie Boogie's opened its doors last year, I just had an itch to have a girly bridal shower there. The perfect girly getaway, right here in Sarasota, Florida. The elegant coral invitations were done at The Paper Tree, The shabby chic pink flags strands were custom sewn by Really Rosy, Cake: Pastries by Design, Flowers by Keren Lifrak Weddings & Special Events of course... and once again, last but not least, absolutely gorgeous photos, taken by the super talented Cat Pennenga who shares my love for modern vintage scenes.
