Designed for each other

April 28th, 2012

Here is just one quick snapshot from Rietje and Sam's beautiful wedding at the Longboat Key Hilton Resort this past Saturday.

Despite having to move to the backup plan due to stormy weather, this bride & groom took it in stride and their love for one another brightened the day for all involved.

So many gorgeous details (but what else would you expect from a talented pair of graphic artists?): birds galore - on the table numbers, custom napkins, and in the centerpieces, cheery teal blue & yellow accents, delicious mini-cupcakes, and so much more. Can't wait to share the photos by Mandy and Me Studio!

Congratulations Sam & Rietje! We loved being a part of your special day.

Mt. Dora Historic Inn - Keren Lifrak Weddings & Special Events

As I always seek new locations for destinations weddings, a few weeks ago, we drove to Mt. Dora, FL. Mt. Dora is quite the antique and flea market mecca. I thought I would find interesting props for event decor as well as research the local hotels and venues. What I didn't expect is this quaint B&B that we stayed in. The Mount Dora Historic Inn. The interior design wasn't all that, with a 19th century feel to it but the real gem were Ana and Jim, the Inn-keeper -- and Jim's breakfasts - OMG!!! I didn’t see that one coming! Having worked in the restaurant business in New York when I was younger, I could tell that Jim was trained and Ana took extra care with her service and attention to details.  Most importantly I could tell that Ana and Jim care deeply about their business and about the people you host at the Mount Dora Historic Inn. It was such a pleasure to chat with Ana and the other guests that we arrived at the antique extravaganza an hour later than we anticipated each morning, simple because Ana’s hosting and the guests conversations were so enjoyable. I'm looking forward to meeting the client who is interested in this type of Shabby Chic wedding so I can come back to Mt. Dora and the Historic Inn.

Ringling November Wedding - by Keren Lifrak Wedding Design and Planning

December 2nd, 2011

Keren Lifrak Weddings & Special events

While I'm waiting for the "real" pictures from the Vue chicks for this magnificent 1920's November Wedding at the Ringling Museum, I borrowed this photos from Diva Productions, the video artists. I have one word for the record: FEATHERS. Seriously now, this was a super fun wedding to work on because the bride and groom trusted us so completely that we got to play around, show our true colors (yes, just like the Peacock!) and do what we do best plan and design events! More detailed pictures to come soon.
